Dedicate a Light

 

By dedicating a light in memory of someone special, you can honour their life while helping local patients and families receive the care, comfort and support they need during some of life’s most difficult times.

 

By making a dedication you:

• Remember someone special in a meaningful way.
• Have their name included in our Book of Honour.
• Support patient care and family support services.
• Help Nightingale House continue to be there for local families when they need us.

Light Up a Life Service

 

Sunday 29th November 2026 at 4:30pm at Nightingale House Hospice, Wrexham

We warmly invite you to join us for our annual Light Up a Life service as we celebrate 30 years of remembrance, reflection and community support. Together, we will take a moment to remember loved ones, share in a special evening of reflection and see the lights illuminated in their honour.

Whether you attend on your own, with family or with friends, you can be assured of a warm welcome.

FAQs

Does my loved one need to have been cared for by Nightingale House Hospice?
No. Light Up a Life is open to everyone wishing to remember a loved one. 

Is there a minimum donation?
No. We suggest a donation of £20 or more, but supporters can donate whatever they feel able. 

What appears in the Book of Honour?
Only the name of the person being remembered. 

Can I attend the service without making a dedication?
Yes. Everyone is welcome. 

Can I dedicate more than one person?
Yes. 

Will my personal message appear publicly?
No. Only the name of the person being remembered will appear in the Book of Honour.
