This summer, we’re excited to welcome Camp Bongo to Park in the Past for three unforgettable weekend experiences.

Working alongside Camp Bongo, we’re creating a weekend that celebrates the tranquillity and history of our landscape by day, followed by their easygoing, adults‑only festival atmosphere as the sun goes down.

During the daytime, visitors can explore everything Park in the Past has to offer: wander woodland trails, discover our full‑scale Roman fort, take in views across Hope Mountain and the Clwydian Range, or enjoy our beautiful spring‑fed lake with your own paddleboard, kayak or watersports equipment. It’s a peaceful, magical setting designed for switching off, exploring, and reconnecting with nature.

As evening arrives, Camp Bongo takes over with their unique festival vibe. Expect live music every night, delicious street food, cocktails from Bar Bongo, activities, entertainment and a welcoming atmosphere that brings great people together.
